Welcome to my corner of the internet — design, coffee, repeat.

I’m Julia, a designer with nine years specialising in branded content for leading media titles in the UK and internationally. I’ve created work for a wide variety of clients, which has been featured in leading publications such as Time Out, The Wall Street Journal, Lonely Planet and Marie Claire. My work brings together commercial-led projects and a strong editorial sensibility, focusing on clear, engaging design that supports both brand and editorial goals.

I work confidently in both digital and print, experienced in developing visual identities for campaigns and projects that translate seamlessly across formats. My expertise includes visual storytelling, UX/UI design and art direction, all aimed at creating thoughtful, effective design solutions. I’m also exploring how AI tools can expand my creativity and help me experiment with new approaches in my work.

Creativity has always been at the heart of what I do. After gaining a BFA I’ve continued to paint in my own studio, which informs the way I think about colour, composition and visual impact. Bringing this personal creative practice into my professional work allows me to approach each brief with curiosity, experimentation and a strong sense of visual storytelling.
